Ride of the Kings is being organized every year since 1808. The origin of this event lays in 1469 when the Hungarian king Matthias Corvinas was defeated in a battle. He was forced to return to Hungary in secret. The king participating in the event is a boy aged between 10 and 12. He rides wearing traditional female clothes. Two knights holding sabres guard the king.
