Tò he is a traditional toy of the Vietnamese children. This figurine has a shape of animals, flowers or some characters from the local folk stories like for example Tôn Ngộ Không, the Monkey King in Journey to the West. Tò he is made glutinous rice powder and is that way edible. Tò he figurines are sold on bamboo sticks.
In the past these figurines were sold only during the Tết and the Trung Thu festivals which are very popular among children. Nowadays they are available almost everywhere and on almost any occasion.
